World-renowned for its crystal ware, Christofle brings a new material to the Art of the Table with Tourbillon: pieces in blown glass, fruits of the collaboration with Alya Tannous. Those unfamiliar with blown glass will be surprised by the finesse and weightlessness of these pieces: their artisanal creation results in unique objects through which the light can shine,adding a touch of the sublime to these airy, ethereal creations.

Creating volume through pure geometry, the Sofia refines and updates classic stemware, recalling the elegance of 1940s cocktail culture. The cylindrical, fluted glassware stem draws inspiration from the fluted columns of classical architecture and challenges one’s assumptions of what a glassware stem should be.

With an innovative use of materials, the collection is made with the finest quality borosilicate glass and without the use of molds. These clear glasses are good for champagne, wine, water, liqueur, shots, espresso, port, and juice. The drinking glasses are good for both everyday and special occasions.

Frances Coupe is the ultimate toasting glass, just launched at Maison & Objet in Paris.

The name Frances means ‘from France’, an apt moniker given that the collection was introduced in Paris. Frances also means ‘free one,’ a social concept of ever increasing importance. A family name on both sides of Ferrone’s lineage, this collection is about tradition combined with a clear focus on the future expressed through unexpected proportions and clean lines. The collection has the formality of stemmed glassware, with a width that introduces a fresh perspective and is a toast to the freedom of expression for one and all. 

Each artisan piece is handcrafted by master glassblowers of premium borosilicate glass allowing for thermal resistance in a range of hot and cold applications. The collection is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.

An iconic toasting flute, Revolution Champagne by fferrone. 

The first glassware collection designed by Felicia Ferrone began as a self-initiated project. After the collection was published in 2001, in Italy and the United States, it was licensed to a number of notable Italian companies. In 2009, Ferrone rescinded the licensing rights in order to produce and distribute her design collections under her namesake brand, fferrone, which she launched in 2010. The dual-sided functionality of the design was inspired by an elaborate evening of dining and drinking with friends.

Permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and the GOOD DESIGN Award

A favorite of stylists, the Revolution Collection has appeared on the set of major motion pictures such as Always Be My Maybe (2019), Oblivion (2013), Star Trek (2009) and series such as Westworld (2017), and it has been widely published in magazines internationally.

Inspired by the architectural parti diagram of Marina City Towers, the iconic architectural landmark designed by Bertrand Goldberg in the mid-1960s that sits along the Chicago River in the heart of Ferrone’s hometown, Chicago, the Flight Collection is characterized by strong, simple lines and a combination of fluted and smooth glass. Flight blurs the boundaries between architecture and objects.
