Metalaceart is a contemporary design company offering a wide collection of lace metal objects that is unrivled and unique.we create original handmade items designed, crafted and inspired from the world of lace fabrics and embroidery using advanced metal process technologies.

The designs reflect the desire to preserve the special and personal touch that was an integral part of all handcrafted objects historically. Despite the use of industrial materials and technology, our product retains its authenticity due to the handmade process applied to each item. In the transition from the "language" and texture of textile fabric to the stiffness of stainless steel, we create an art form that that marries the old and the new.

Metalace's pieces are designed and crafted by Talila Abraham, an Israeli born artist who has a M.Sc in Management Design from the Technion Israeli institute of Technology in Haifa and a B.Sc.T.E in industrial design from the Holon Academic Institute of Technology in Israel.

Her designs are inspired from the work of unknown women and merge the unique personal and romantic feeling of handcraft with contemporary materials and advanced technology. Each piece is individually processed and hand-treated for optimal shape and structure leading to a unique and personal product. Talila's designs range from tableware to home décor, and are sold in galleries and specialty stores worldwide.

Skate

Seemingly defying gravity, the Alfredo Vase in light green glass is a striking piece of work with or without flowers. Its pleasing bulbous shape inspires creativity in flower arranging but looks just as good alone or in a group of other vases.

Designer Alfredo Häberli’s joy in his work is clearly visible. His pieces for Georg Jensen are sculptural and sensuous but always with a sense of humour and a strong character. This quality has earned Häberli a legion of fans worldwide.

The Alfredo vase is made from mouth blown glass. The green colour is unique to Georg Jensen, having been developed in close collaboration with Glafo Glass Research Institute in Sweden.

With a nod to both cubist art and Mayan carving, Cubisme takes geometric simplicity to a new level. Bookends are created from lightly textured earthenware and feature antiqued gold accents.
